Of the Wearing of Top Hats

You know what? People should wear fancy clothes just for the fun of it more often. A girl in my ward was thrown a party where we all dressed up fancy like. Now this was especially appealing to me, because I enjoy every opportunity to wear my top hat. It's fun, and it lets me be silly. Which means I'm less shy than normal, which is always a plus.

Anyways, until photos are posted on facebook by the gentleman who took pictures, I remind you of how snazzy I look in a top here:

Anywho, I would just like to repeat that I think it would be a most excellent idea to wear more fancy clothes around.

Or maybe I'll just wear my top hot more often. Maybe if things go weird, I'll be the next "cloakboy".

Oh, and BYU won! Tis most glad tidings!

There's a family in my ward where the teenage+ boys all wear fedoras to church. They take them off once they get there, but still. You could do that. (I also caught one wearing his to a reception -- just anywhere that's a classy occasion, I guess.)

/C is for Creepily Commenting on your blog

I'm a girl, yes. I've decided to take that as a compliment that I didn't scatter pink glitter everywhere. I also had another thought, but unfortunately I didn't think of it till last night so it's probably too late, but ... well, you could wear your top hat to Homecoming. The Dance, not the game. Though if you want to risk it at the game, I think you would get more compliments than not.

Ha, that would be true. Unfortunately I have no money for Homecoming dances (They're all expensive) and no tickets to the game.

But you do make some excellent suggestions.
