I am such an accuracy junkie that I can't help but mention that it takes 3 days to become a vampire in Meyer's universe...

Ashamed of knowing that off the top of my head? I guess. Twilight when it was just by itself was acceptable reading material and that's when I read it.

Yeah. Okay. It was still funny. I loved Bella's horrible-sounding unattractive voice.

Yeah, it takes about three days. You could maybe construe it to mean that they waited 3 days deliberating on whether or not to make her a vampire, which would be more funny.

Also, since vampirism is spread by venom, and takes three days to spread, shouldn't it be possible to make an antidote? Like how they have anti-toxins and antidotes for snake poison, Carlisle is old and a doctor, I'm sure he could do it.

i saw this the other day and thought it was great. at least, great in the sense that it made me laugh, and laughing is pretty much my favorite!
