Answers, Answers, Answers.

Ok, so people asked questions, I responded a tad. Instead of having to read through the comments, I'm going to post the questions and my answers here.

Ghostlilly: Blah, blah, blah, What happened to the 20 dollar bill? My friend didn't take it, and I didn't spend it!

You know that dimension where missing socks end up when the dryer eats them? It is essentially the same concept, except with your finger bandaged up, it created a temporary space time anomaly that ripped the $20 dollar bill from your wallet. So whoever has all the lost socks from dryers, has your $20. Probably spent it on a chili burger or something.

Samnhal: You're on a desert island and you can bring an endless supply of food with you, but only one food. What one food would you pick to eat everyday?

Any type of food? Tacos al pastor. They're one of my favorite Mexican dishes and could eat them forever.

ColleenRoselle: Can I see a picture of you?

Yes! See the comments for the links to some photos, or search for photos. There are plenty in this blog and I am too lazy to get them at the moment.

Christina Why are you so passionate about the Green Revolution?

This is a somewhat difficult question. I am not sure exactly why, but there is something that turns my heart and makes me want to act when I am aware of oppresion of this kind, of repressed freedoms. Watching the youtube videos in June, reading the blogs, trying to pay attention to all that is going has flipped a kind of switch. People are losing their lives and I just feel an urge to help, to help the people gain their freedom. I also liken it to the American Revolution in some ways, because the colonists were fights for freedom, fighting to not have a king over them, and it is something that has taken time and may be coming to a boiling over point in Iran. And so I feel the urge to help.

What is your favorite Home cooked meal? I would say that one of my favorite home cooked meals is probably a breakfast item called, "German Pancakes." They're delicious.

Are you near-sighted or far-sighted? I am near sighted. Things get blurry after 5 feet or so.

What size shoe do you wear? I wear size 8.5 shoes.

Craig M: Why does a Chicken?
This is a very important question, asking why the chicken. No one knows for sure why, and none of them will really answer. Those that do, well, they lie. They don't ever tell the truth. So the trick is to watch one in the wild without them knowing, which is quite hard to do. But if you are able to do it, you will realize that that the why was just an college bet they had, won and still continue to this day; It is teaching the humans the Chicken Dance. That is the why they will ever need. Cause they think it is pretty darn hilarious.

What is your favorite webcomic? My favorite webcomics are XKCD, Order of the Stick, Dinosaur Comics, Questionable Content and Dr. Mcninja.

What is your favorite videogame of all time? My favorite video game of all time? Honestly, I would have to say the Baldur's Gate series. Starcraft ranks up there too, but nothing takes the cake such as having Minsc in your group shouting for his hamster, or miniature giant space hamster, to go for the eyes. It is a hilarious game.

Katie: You love tacos al pastor too?

Yes, yes I did. A lot of missionaries who went served an LDS mission in Mexico City liked them. They are quite delicious indeed.

Anonymous: Which current writer on the 100 hour board do you like the least?

For those who do not know, the 100 Hour Board is a type of anonymous question board where people ask questions and the anonymous writers respond. It is something that I have enjoyed reading in the past.
To get to Anonymous's question, I haven't really read for the past month or so because I have been busy with school and other stuff, even so, no one's writing has really made me dislike them. If I would have say someone, I would say Marzipan. I only say Marzipan because I know her and I think she lets me being a reader of the Board, or something else foolish, from getting to better friends. That is all.

That is it, those are the answers to the questions. I thought some more people would ask questions, but hey, it means less procrastinating of school work this way. Though feel free to ask questions whenever. You shouldn't need a blog post inviting you to ask me something about myself, to ask me about myself.

21 Questions

Ok, so this will actually be nothing like 21 questions, considering I'm going to be answering with more than a yes or a no, and there may be more than 21 questions.

But others have done this, and as I figure I should get a little something done on my blog while school rages around, my creativity is being diverted to other areas.

So ask questions. Whatever you want. The sky is the limit, and if we get there, I'm sure we can bypass the atmosphere without a hitch. So just ask what you'd like to learn from me, be it silly, serious, or otherwise.

So, this is what you get. Get to asking those questions.

Edit: Preferably something you'd like to know about me, to know who I am a little. Something like that.

New Template

So a quick explanation for you all, I support the Green Revolution. I want help out the Iranians who do not have a voice, whose votes where not counted, who are protesting the votes, who are starting to overthrow their dictatorship.

So I changed my blog layout to signal my support. Sorry if it annoys you.

And if anyone knows of any way to help out more, such as setting up remote servers for Iranians or something like that, let me know. I want to help.

There's a Name For Someone Like You...

And it's Oedipus. You haven't heard of Oedipus, have you Mr. Inglewood California? Are you quite sure, you're actually acting like him, slightly.

Ok, so skipped the killing your father step (I'm assuming) and just leaped right to the next step. Well actually I presume you decided to search for it first, but honestly, searching for "Spooning with Mom" does you no good.

So before you end up being the father of your sisters and putting your eyes out and causing a butt load of problems for your family, a word of advice; don't.

So are we clear on that? No spooning your mother? Good. Now go be a productive member of society!

Why?! Just Why?

My brain is now fried, you broke it. Congratulations. I didn't even make it to the math lab yet. But you broke it. I decided to check Analytics this morning to see the search terms real quick that led to my web site, and let's just say yours takes the cake.

Why on earth anyone would search for the terms 'spooning mom' is beyond me. Why would you do such a thing? Maybe you searched for something wacky on Oedipus, maybe... but who knows. It's quite odd.

I think I'm going to soak my brain in acid now. And please don't search for that ever again. Please.

Frome Whence Come Ye?

So I was looking at analytics, of those who visited my blog this month and saw some cool things. Some interesting visits I've received is from The Navy network information center, and the the Utah Education Network. I've received 9 visits from facebook (mainly from Provo) and so for those of you who have come from facebook or the Navy (Tim!), give me a shout out. I'd like to know who else is reading.

Also, someone found my blog by searching google for: lds not to bungee jump. That's hilarious.

Proceed, and give a shout out ya'll hear?

180°

Just to be brief as I am out of time at the moment.

I find it interesting that even though everyone has their own issues, their own problems, we don't consider those people like that. I mean you do a search for a name in facebook and you can come up with with over 500 people that match that name. Or, in my case, in boredom I was browsing random BYU groups, reading stuff on their discussion boards and even looking at some people's pictures but beyond that I didn't consider them at all beyond the picture presented. Just some abstract face I don't know and am thus indifferent too. That over the internet I would treat as indifferent, or maybe less than dignified. So I was just glancing, wasting some time until I clicked on a girl's profile, a fellow BYU student's profile that I had viewd and noticed she had a blog.

Now being the blog reading type that I am, I clicked on the link and began to read, expecting some attempted humor like I do occasionally, something to poke fun at all the stress that goes on. But that isn't what she wrote. I won't say what's going on, except suffice to say that's she's been having a rotten summer so far.

And reading it made me feel guilty because just a few moments ago I was just casually brushing by her facebook profile as if she were nothing at all.

And then I came to the realization that every single person has something going on in their life, some problem. And I've been too focused on my own blunders and getting back into school in the fall that I lost track of what is important, how I should be treating others, how I should be helping them instead of objectifying them or filling my day with trivialities.

It is a metaphorical slap in the face for me to man up and get doing what I am supposed to be doing instead of focusing on my own past blunders.

So I hope that in the future I express more optimism for the future, that as my attitude changes that this blog reflects it.

And so for those of you I know, I apologize for the times I have slighted you, big and small and hope you'll forgive me.

Sincerely Sam, the Nanti-SARRMM

Dearest Searcher

Dearest person who arrived at my blog by Google searching the phrase 'My lungs are killing me',
You were probably looking for some reason as to why my lungs were killing me, but yet arrived at a page that had nothing do with the my lungs at all.

So though you may not come to this blog again, I feel it only fair to link to the reason as to why my lungs are killing me.

Hopefully this will serve as a help to those who use that search term. I could also put a link in that blog post too, but that would mean having to edit that. And who really has the time? Well, I do, I suppose... I may or I may not. We'll see.

Made With Love

Two weeks ago Yellow MM gained cookies by default and received them today. The cookies were made last night though, with pictures included.

There was a bit of going back and forth as well. I went to Katydid's to pick her up, swung by the Creamery to buy some things and headed to apartment where we started to get everything organized. It turns out that we didn't have measuring cups, or large enough bowls in my apartment, so we went back to Katydid's to make it.

We started on it, but may have intruded on Katydid's roommates', Heavens To, dinner and she appeared upset that we were there as Katydid had told her that we would be at my place making the cookies. Well we mixed everything together and decided to head back to my place as to risk no further offense.

Here is what the cookie dough looked like:

Lacking a plate to put the cookies on once cooked, we placed them in this:

And with enough cookies soon looked like this:

See, even Katydid likes them:

though she resented a little that I took her photo, I suppose...

But the cookies turned out great, and a dozen were delivered to Yellow MM and a dozen to Katydid's roommates as a peace offering. We'll see if said peace offering was accepted.

Also Wally III has stated I cannot participate in "Singles Awareness Day", that I am banned. I promptly told him that I would be participating in a better holiday; "Making Singles Self-Aware Day."

And in terms of stuff I blogged about before, I do have a job now. I'll expound later. I am also have contacted the company that sent me the textbook by mistake. They said they would send me a return mailer thing, but nothing has showed up thus far. Odd.

You Should Know This Already.

Yeah, every so often I take a moment to comment about how people have found this blog by searches and what not, but c'mon, enough is enough.

Some person found my recently by googling "Who is Edward of twilight dating?". Shouldn't you this, I mean Edward is dating Bella of course.
Well actually, technically he is married to her with some little half undead growth hormone monstrosity. So I guess this does bring about new mystery, Who is Edward dating?
I mean now that Bella is undead and all, she no longer has that savory juicy steak smell. Sure he can spend all day in bed with her because they don't get tired or anything while Jacob plays baby games with his wife to be. He only has to wait a year or so before she become 'legal' right? But heaven forbid if a half-vampire can have children. The possibility of a half wolf-shapechanger, half, or fourth, vampire is just too grisly to imagine. But this isn't about Jacob's future with a half undead abomination where there are probably dozens of fanfics about their adventures and all, this is about who Edward is dating.

Sure the obvious thought, as I stated before, is that he would be taking his wife Bella out occasionally. But lets examine this thoroughly. Edward and his family clearly have more money than they know what do with, they never tire, Edward is no longer attracted to Bella the same way he was before because she isn't human, and as Bella has human ties for the next forty years or so, Edward has to do something while she is visiting the in-laws right?

Obviously the person who googled this saw something up in Forks, and thought that since the media reports on every minute of every celebrities lives, especially when being unfaithful; that the person clearly thinks that Edward is two-timing Bella.

Maybe that is why Edward never hooked up with that one vampire from Alaska, she wasn't human and thus not his type. We know he traveled around, and that he was in Italy for a few days preparing himself to walk out of the 'Vampire Closet' so to speak. (And now there will be dozens of fanfics about gay vampires and gay Eddie. Joy.) So maybe while he was in the shadows in Italy he met a young Italian female who had a nose for trouble and he ended up saving her life. We all know how this ends up, she falls in love with Edward because she smells like a superb Italian meatball, and this time he can read her mind so he knows if she'll reveal him. Although it does add up more if she is another extremely private person, so he can't read her mind. After-all, we know Edward is into that sort of thing, feeling human by having to guess like any other guy, so most likely that is the case.
Also Edward knows now with his experience with Bella to not turn her to be a vampire; not only would she lose the superb Italian meatball smell (which is far better than some girl from Arizona would smell I wager, no offense female Arizonians) but if the young Italian chick were a vampire, it would introduce all sorts of problems.

Of course as he is in Italy, and since the Voltari are there as well, the young Italian mistress might make a good peace offering since those dudes collect gifted vampires and act like the Mob.

This does also add insight to why Edward feels like he is going to hell, it's not because he's a vampire, but he's clearly been helping the Voltari on the side, a free-agent of sorts. Only with Bella he could resist and decided to keep her to himself, which is why the Voltari were angry in the first place, because Edward should have handed her over, but didn't.

So there you have it my good Google searcher, Edward clearly is double timing Bella with some privately minded Italian flirt, preparing her for the Voltari. After which he'll move onto his next target.

So to all the ladies in the world, here's hoping he can read your mind, if not, you're next. Well after me. I know too much and he has to eliminate me now.

Of course you could have been asking who Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward, is dating. My answer, I don't know nor do I care. You can surely Google it to find out. That's what you did to find this blog you say? Right. Well he's obviously following Edward's footsteps and recruiting naive, talented, young females for some underground organization.

Randomness All Over, With a Treat Inside

You ever feel like you are off your grove and just don't know why, that you feel spiritually off center, that you are slightly off kilter and you want to get back on kilter? That's sort of how I feel in trying to balance my life now. It's not anything serious that is causing me to be off-kilter, just the little things that I need to improve on.

It's seriously causing me to be uncreative too and think of funny things to say.

Although I may throw the spotlight to Wally, he's in need of a girl and thinks that the universe is hating on him. I mean he is a very cool guy, who is going into computer engineering and even developing his own tech site. He's a very productive fun guy, unlike me where I am boosting the productivity levels to out of the levels known as lazy and procrastinative. In fact, though he denies it, he is a very good looking guy, more-so than myself, to which The Giant can surely attest to. He served a mission in Brazil and is very down to earth dude. In fact, here is a photo of him:

It's not the best but it is the only photo he has on facebook. In fact, as this is post #150, to the last person who comments before Friday at 12:01 AM, I'll put you in contact with him. Or if you're a guy or don't want Wally (hanging out, email, what-have-you) as a prize, then I offer cookies. So let's make it this, cookies with an optional side order of Wally. Your choice of cookies.

Glad you are all reading. To help inspire comments I will ask a question; What do you do when you realize that you've started something that may not be right or working, how to make it work or get out of it?

And Continues the Drama

Geeze, this blog is turning out to be soap opera. First the romance and love triangles and now the trauma and suspense. I wonder if a Hollywood screenwriter is writing the script of my life.

So... My parents received a call from the Elder Fields' mission president, it seems that Elder Fields is in the hospital, most likely due to some kidney trouble. The doctors are not sure what it is exactly, but it might be some latent kidney issues that Elder Fields had years ago and hasn't had problems with since. So hopefully he gets well quickly.

But I do promise this, that the humor will get back to this blog, it may mean finding and firing that Hollywood writer, but we all have to take losses somewhere, it is a hard economy after all.

A Small Resolution

A small resolution to be invisible no more.
I figure I could write a poem and be indirect about all this, but I'd rather not to today.

But I may have stated this, I dunno. I don't think anyone from my ward really reads this, if they do, they haven't said anything. Anyways, usually, like nights like this, I feel invisible in the ward. It may have to do with having just received a calling a few weeks before that after being a year in the ward when my new roommates had received a calling before I did.
It may have to do with that that my roommates have already given a talk in Sacrament, but I haven't given a talk since I got off my mission a year and three months ago.
It may have to do with the fact that I am still struggling to get to know ward members and be their friend, while other new people are getting along great with those in the ward. Not that it is a bad thing, that is god that they are getting along.

But it has occasionally left me with a feeling of invisibility. I could blame them for not noticing me, and not being more outgoing.
I could also revert to how I viewed myself before as a social geek, super awkward and stew over that a lot.
But I'm not.
I've gone done that path of self-hate introspection, and I don't care to do it again. It's not a fun journey, let me tell you that. (And no, this isn't meant to make you pity me or anything. Unless pity can be converted to gold. Then I'll take all the pity you can give me.)
Nor can I blame them, it's not their fault if I haven't gone out of my way to say hi or to step out of my comfort zone.
I think I am just to lazy and expect all social things to fall at my feet instead of calling people up to hang out and the like.
Anyways, back to the point.
I am making a resolution to be more outgoing, to be less shy, to go out of my way to say hello, be friendly and to hang out more. This includes less texting and more calling. (I sent and received well over 1000 texts this past month...)

So I'd like to take a moment to thank you for allowing this break in randomness. If you're in my ward and read this, talk to me. For everyone else, feel free to comment, say hi. The blog feels all alone. It's too quiet, and not even Weird Al can heal the wounds caused by the failure to comment or mask the cries of lonliness. Blogs have feelings too you know. So stop being so cold hearted, and comment. If not for my sake, but for the blogs sake. You know, before the blog goes and attacks other blogs' code. We need to prevent another disaster.

So while you consider the the implications of a bloggicidal Blog, here is a message from our sponsors: Cheese! It comes from cows!

The Most Random Keyword

Well today I am baffled and slightly amused; I was checking Analytics today and I say that yesterday someone found my blog by looking up "Strongbadia the free." I know that homestarrunner is awesome and everything, but I don't believe that I have mentioned it thus far on this blog. and now someone somehow found my blog by searching for it? That's got to be something right there.

Anyways the storm threatened to rage on the seashore and the lone watchman toiled at the gate while others thought nothing of it. The Watchman thought troubled was brewing as occurred yesteryear when the most terrible of tempests had occurred. The Watchman lost hope and gave a few shouts, but his voice hardly carried to those who could help. He looked above and uttered a prayer to have strength to withstand, to man his position. So though he went to bed dreaming of calamity, the sun came up the next morn. The watchman was amazed and thankful for the miracle, while the world continued on with nary a thought of the Watchman's screams of danger in the late of night.

Word Art

So, a friend of mine showed me this Word Art site where it randomizes words from blogs and such. I thought I would post a couple that I generated from this blog. It doesn't appear that I can

The first
And here is the second:

It's a fun site, go try it.
