Release the Monkeys!

5...4...3...2...1... Happy New Year!!! "Release the monkeys!"

This really did occur, and it was awesome. Here is what it sounds like, excluding the music after;

So yes, the new year has started and the monkeys have been released and they won't be called back. Basically meaning I'm going to try and be more of my goofy self, less self-conscious, and strive to be more random. To get all sorts of weird glances as I defy the Utah Valley standards of a good BYU student.

It means I'll have the eye of the tiger, that channeling Rocky (Yes, I am a big fan. ;P) I will overcome, I will be happier, and more wild and cray-zay!

Which also on the flip side means being more responsible with my time and all...

And so I say to you all, Release the monkeys!

So instead of Happy New Year should I say, Happy Release the Monkeys?

You are random, but I heart it.

I approve of your plan. Why? Because you are all kinds of awesome and it should be shared with the world. Although, please do not manage your time so well that you twitter/facebook adandon me.

Here's to happiness!

This is probably the best resolution ever. It sure beats my 'no more fast food/soda' attempt. Maybe I'll try yours too :)

Who is to say what a good BYU student is? Being yourself is much better than being BYUified. Bleh. So what do you say back to someone when they say Release the you say it back like Happy New Years, or do you say something like, Release the pandas?

I am done with the first day of school, and I think BYUification happens because classes are just so stressful, and weird things happen.

But yes. I shall try and avoid that.
