O.K., T.C. JR., as of Thursday afternoon is back up and running.
Basically the radiator died, making it over heat. Also a fuse blew, causing the brake lights not to work. And the CV Boot tore and was making noises, and thus had to replace the shaft.
So yeah, T.C. JR. was one sick little car. I still have to get the passenger sized door handle to be fixed as well. Although it does also mean that I get more opportunity to be chivalrous. Hee hee.

In Sickness and in, Well, In Sickness
Poor T.C. Jr., my Geo Metro. He's been under the weather. Actually it is a radiator problem. So there is much sadness. And much dramatic posing of heart attacks upon learning the price to repair it all.
And so until further notice, at least hopefully until later today, I'll be in Tooele.
Sadness and Lamentations.

Swine Flu
It's pretty contagious. So contagious that I think my car has it now.
I noticed it overheating a couple of weeks ago and thanks to lovely and talented Miss Missing Marbles and her brother, they helped install a new water pump as T.C. Jr. (Tin Can Jr.) was leaking coolant. So they fixed that. Of course there is also the matter of a torn front-right CV boot and having to replace the shaft too. So would that count as having fractured something?
Anyways, it's still overheating. Or at least the thermometer says it is overheating, which thanks to my utterly useless sense of smell, I don't know if I can smell anything burning or not.
So, it seems T.C. Jr. is still sick, or he's just playing hokey. I'm taking him to a mechanic on Wednesday and we'll see if he's faking it or not.

I Didn't Want to Go Off-Roading Anyways.
In case my sense of adventure and my sense of idiocy team up and defeat common sense, please remind me to never go off-roading in the snow in TC JR. (My Geo-Metro)
This morning I gave a roommate and a friend of his a ride to a car rental place so they could get to Salt Lake. Now as it snowed last night (and is snowing out the yin yang now) the plows had cleared the roads and thus the snow was off to the side, maybe six inches I would say thick. Now I pulled off to the side, as there was an indentation for cars to pull into, and got stuck. Yes, in six inches of snow, my car got stuck in the snow and had to be pushed out. Sadness indeed right.
If the snow keeps up like this, I may not make it to Tooele for Christmas.

Wind Interference on the Ninth Hole.
Ok, I get it, I need to update this. I mean, I can't have this be like my journal where I only update once every three months or so can I? No? I thought not.
Brief updates before I get to the main subject, school has started, yippee, the insurance company may decide to just total out my Geo, which if granted the fair value, means I get $775 or so for its value, if good, it means I get $1100. Wow. I am surprised, I thought it was worth less than that. I have also read Breaking Dawn, so expect a post about that, just to annoy my sister.
As it turns out, me and a girl who lived in my ward last year, Raquel, went on a date last night to the mini golf place on 8th North in Orem. That was fun, I don't remember our scores, but I'm pretty sure she won, I let her though by hitting the ball more times than was necessary. She may have known that. We also stopped counting after we hit the ball 5 or more times, and yes that did happen a lot. Especially the hole with the sloped hill and water/pond danger. Our balls kept going in it.
Then the wind decided to pick up and blow the golf balls some, and make the small flags go wild on us. So much we decided to call interference due to excessive wind. You hear that wind? We're on to you!
Anyways, Raquel is cool, and is an English major (I know a few of those, including formers as well) and I found out that Edgar Alan Poe was a player. That's right, the guy with the raven that says nevermore, he was a player. Apparently he wrote love notes to married women while he was engaged. So we talked about literature, movies and the like. It was fun. Oh, and bismark, she's a cute Asian. (ha ha ha, well half Japanese.)
Well, I have now updated, so all you that were complaining now have your wish. As for the others that read, I want your input too!

A little yay here and a little nay there
I would like to take this moment to congratulate you all for your readership. We have now passed 1000 views. Thank you for taking your time to read this blog.
In other news, I got in a fender bender today, some guy hit back ended me and bent some metal. No worries, I am fine, the car runs fine, it's just that the hatchback part of the car won't lock now because the metal is bent. Good thing I just passed my safety registration requirement.
Who knows how much that will cost to fix though.

The Waterfall
Well I think I had half a mountain on my pants last night.
You see, last night my FHE group went up to Bridal Veil Falls, and half of us hiked up to it. It was cool. It was actually my first time visiting it. I also thought that the restaurant at the top of the mountain was some abandoned Forest Ranger Outlook post with a pulley system to bring up supplies. I was thoroughly corrected by the 100 hour board archives when I looked into earlier today.
Anyways, we're at the top, we take pictures, and then head back down. Only instead of coming exactly the way we came, the person leading decided to take us down another path, one quite slippery that caused most of us to slide on our butts most of the way down, and me being the most graceful of us all (sarcasm alert!!!) I went last with clouds of dust in my wake. Then imagine clouds of dust coming up as I tried to dust off myself. Yeah, it was just barely enough to start to tickle my asthma. Luckily it wasn't set off. Almost though. Hearing one one of the girls talk about past experiences of flirting with guys in other cars and getting them to pull their pants down... well lets just say we were lucky we were stopped at a red light cause that got me laughing hard, and I happened to be driving.
Also, I have realized that having five people in the Tin Can Mobile causes it to groan and make weird noises from the back end. Like a creepy old house.
